PromptCue empowers you to create stunning visuals from simple text prompts. Using our advanced image generation feature, you can request images by typing a prompt—just as you would a text query. Our system intelligently detects when an image is requested and displays the generated image right in your chat interface.

Image Generation Model Selection

Our system automatically selects the right image generation model based on the provider of the AI model you choose. For example, if you select an OpenAI model that supports image generation, we’ll automatically configure it to use DALL-E 3.

How It Works?​

  1. Text-Based Image Prompts:
    When you enter a prompt in the chatbox, PromptCue analyzes your input. If it detects that you are requesting an image, it routes your prompt to our image generation engine instead of processing it as a text response.

  2. Automatic Detection:
    Our internal mechanism examines keywords and patterns in your prompt to determine if you want an image. Once confirmed, the corresponding AI model generates a visual output.

Image Generation Support

Keep in mind that not every AI model supports image generation. If you select a model that lacks this capability, you'll see the message Selected model does not support image generation as the response, and your prompt request will be automatically canceled.

  1. Displaying the Image:
    The generated image appears as the AI response in your chat.

  2. Interactive Options:

    • Download: Click on the download button to download the image directly to your device.
    • View Revised Prompt: Optionally, inspect the refined prompt that was processed by the AI model to create the image. This can help you understand how to adjust your future prompts for better results.

Imagine you want to create a promotional visual for a new product launch. You might enter the following prompt into the chatbox:

Generate an image of a futuristic office with modern technology and vibrant colors.

Once the system detects this as an image-generation request, it processes the prompt. The selected AI Model then refines your input—possibly adjusting details for clarity—and generates a striking image of a futuristic office. When you click on the image, you can choose to download it or review the revised prompt, which might read:

Create an image showcasing a modern, high-tech office environment with sleek furniture and vibrant accents.

This refined prompt ensures that the visual output is both detailed and aligned with your creative vision.
