PromptCue puts you in full control of your chat history. Our Delete Message feature allows you to remove individual messages—whether they are your own prompts or AI-generated responses—with ease. How It Works?​

Hover and Discover the Delete Option​

  • Instant Visibility:
    When you hover over any message—be it your own prompt or an AI response—a dustbin icon will appear. This icon signals that the message can be deleted.

Deleting a Message​

  1. Click the Dustbin Icon:
    Once you see the icon, click it to initiate the deletion process.
  2. Confirmation Modal:
    A confirmation prompt will appear, asking if you're sure you want to delete the message. This extra step ensures that you don't accidentally remove important information.
  3. Final Deletion:
    If you confirm the deletion, the message is removed from your chat history.
Deleting The Only Left Message

If the message you delete is the only message in the chat, then the entire chat will be deleted. This helps keep your interface clean and free from empty conversations.
