🌗 App Theme

PromptCue offers a fully customizable appearance with Light, Dark, and System themes—ensuring an optimal viewing experience no matter your environment. By default, PromptCue reads your system theme settings and renders the interface accordingly, but you can change it on demand.

Overview​

  • Light Theme:
    Provides a bright and clean interface ideal for well-lit environments.

  • Dark Theme:
    Offers a low-light, visually soothing interface that can reduce eye strain and conserve battery life on OLED screens.

  • System Theme:
    Automatically adapts to your device’s current theme settings—so if your operating system is set to dark mode, PromptCue will appear in dark mode; if set to light mode, it will use the light theme.

How It Works?​

  1. Default Behavior:
    When you first launch PromptCue, the application automatically detects your system’s theme setting and applies it. This ensures a seamless, personalized experience right out of the box.

  2. Manual Theme Switching:
    To change the theme manually, navigate to the Profile section located in the App Management sidebar. Here, you'll find a theme slider offering three options:

    • 🌙 Dark
    • ☀️ Light
    • 🖥️ System

    You can click on the individual icons representing each mode to switch themes instantly.

  3. Local Storage for Theme Settings:
    Your theme preference is stored locally (via localStorage), ensuring that your chosen theme persists across sessions and page reloads.
