Chatbox

The PromptCue Chatbox is the heart of your unified AI chat experience. It allows you to interact with advanced AI models using both text and voice commands. Whether you’re typing your prompt or speaking it aloud, our chatbox is designed to be intuitive, efficient, and powerful.

Entering Your Prompt​

Text Input & Send Options​

  • Type Your Prompt:
    Simply click into the chatbox and type your question or command.

  • Send Your Message:
    You have two ways to send your prompt:

    • Press Enter: Quickly submit your prompt by pressing the Enter key.
    • Click the Send Button: If you prefer a mouse-based interaction, click the Send button located at the right end of the chatbox.

Voice Commands​

  • Activate Voice Interaction:
    You can also speak your prompt (activate voice by clicking on Microphone button). When you use voice commands:
    • Recording & Transcription:
      Start speaking, and once you stop, your speech is automatically converted to text.
    • Send Prompt:
      The transcribed text appears in the chatbox, where you can review and then send it as you would with typed input.

Dynamic Prompt Variables​

Enhance your prompts with dynamic variables that adapt to your needs:

  • How It Works:
    When you type the trigger sequence __$ (double underscore), a dropdown will appear above the chatbox.
  • Select a Variable:
    The dropdown lists all your saved prompt variables. Click on one to insert it directly into your prompt.
  • Customization:
    This feature lets you quickly personalize your queries with dynamic data.

Saved Prompts​

For a streamlined workflow, PromptCue also supports a built-in Prompt Library:

  • Accessing Saved Prompts:
    Type / (a forward slash) in the chatbox to trigger a dropdown that displays all your saved prompt titles.
  • Inserting a Prompt:
    Click on the desired prompt title, and the full prompt text will automatically be inserted into your chatbox.

Features Panel​

Located directly below the chatbox is a handy Features Panel that provides quick access to:

  • Prompt Variables:
    Manage and customize your dynamic prompt variables.
  • Model Settings:
    Fine-tune your AI model parameters (such as temperature, context, and response tuning) for optimal performance.
  • Prompt Library:
    Browse, save, and select from a curated library of high-impact prompts to boost your productivity.

This panel allows you to modify and optimize your interactions without leaving the chat interface.
