Temporary Chats: Fast, Ephemeral AI Conversations

Temporary Chats allow you to quickly engage with AI models for testing new prompts, experimenting with different interactions, or simply having a one-off conversation—all without cluttering your main chat history. This feature is perfect for when you need a clean, temporary workspace to focus on the conversation at hand.

What Are Temporary Chats?​

Temporary Chats are designed to give you a flexible, temporary workspace for your AI interactions:

  • Experiment Freely: Try out new ideas and prompts without permanently storing the conversation.
  • Keep Your Workspace Clean: Your Active Chats list remains dedicated to ongoing and important conversations.
  • Instant Setup: Create a temporary chat session with a single click, using your current AI model or a default model if none is active.

How Temporary Chats Work?​

Creating a Temporary Chat​

  • Toggle the Temporary Chat:
    You can toggle the Temporary Chat mode ON from the top right side in the top navbar in the Chat Area. This would start a new Temporary chat session.
  • Automatic Model Selection:
    If you have an active chat, the temporary chat inherits the current AI model. Otherwise, it defaults to a preconfigured model.
Note

While in Temporary Chat, you would be unable to:

  • Access existing chats
  • Create new chats with our AI Agents

Using Temporary Chats​

  • Interact as Usual:
    Engage with the AI using text or voice commands. Your conversation remains in the temporary workspace, keeping your primary chat history uncluttered.
  • Switching & Exiting:
    Once finished, you can close the temporary chat or switch back to your regular chats. Temporary sessions can be cleared automatically on exit.

  • Regular Cleanup:
    Periodically clear your Temporary Chats to ensure that your app remains fast and responsive.
